Giving Back

Supporting the local community has always been an important part of the Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co. We understand our responsibility to be a good corporate citizen. In our first years of business, we have sponsored a number of charitable events that benefit local organizations. We look forward to serving many more in the future and invite our customers and fans to joins us in supporting these important local causes.

CCC 200 Cycle Club

The Cincinnati Cycle Club is the oldest cycling club in the region. Cincinnati Cycle Club promotes cycling as an active, healthy lifestyle by organizing and offering the largest selection of group rides, social activities and cycling support in the tri-state region
The Club promotes cycling safety and education by providing coaching and training. Experienced cyclists, some certified in coaching or instructing, willing to provide advice and mentor you when needed and they also host training events on safe riding and bike maintenance.

The Cincinnati Soap Box Derby is a youth-development organization for kids, ages 7 through 18 and their families, which started in 1934.
The goals of the Soap Box Derby program have not changed since it began. They are to teach youngsters some of the basic skills of workmanship, the spirit of competition and the perseverance to continue a project once it has begun.
The Cincinnati Derby holds monthly races April through October at various locations in Greater Cincinnati.


Ensemble Theatre has become the artistic cornerstone of Over-the-Rhine’s Vine Street corridor renaissance. Growing from only a handful of subscribers during its first few years, Ensemble Theatre now proudly holds a loyal subscriber base of over 2,200 and serves over 30,000 annually through its productions and outreach programs. As the centerpiece of the neighborhood’s burgeoning urban cultural district, Ensemble Theatre has earned a reputation as Cincinnati’s premiere theatre destination and makes a significant economic impact on a vital downtown life.


Free Feet Footwear Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that no child goes without proper footwear. We work with Northern Kentucky schools to determine where the needs are and fill requests anonymously through guidance counselors, teachers, faculty and staff.

Our primary means of fundraising is our annual benefit held in November. The funds raised are used to buy shoes & boots for the children that need them most in Northern Kentucky. We also provide new slippers to the Veterans in the VA hospital.


Kennedy Heights Arts Center was established by the community to create a public resource for the creation of art. One person's dream has become the inspiration of many - literally hundreds of people have helped transform this formerly distressed property into a thriving community arts center.
Our vision is to be the anchor of an increasingly vibrant, diverse, inclusive and creative community.The mission of Kennedy Heights Arts Center is to enhance the life of the surrounding community through arts and cultural experiences that embrace diversity, foster creativity and build community.


"Pass the Hat" for the 5 B's was established in October, 2005 to help local women in N. KY as they fight breast cancer and other types of cancers. 100% of monies raised goes to the Holbrook-Minning Fund of the St. Elizabeth Foundation.
The funds are used to assist these women with expenses such as medication coverage, groceries, gasoline cards, utility bills, etc.


The mission of the Walnut Hills High School Association is to support the overall school through volunteering and through the provision of much needed funds. Thanks to Walnut Hills parents, guardians, teachers, and staff, the Walnut Hills High School Association helps with a range of items including for example student socials, welcoming of new students and their families, and support of school wide events. The Walnut Hills High School Association also provides funding for many critical items such as textbooks, technology, and college counseling.

Giving back to our communities is a value the Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co. believes to be an integral part of being a good neighbor.
